This paper is a classic among RC papers. This photo paper coated onto a medium strength, pure white RC base with a basis weight of 190 g/m² distinguishes itself not only with a neutral image tone, deep, rich blacks and neutral, white highlights, but especially through the full contrast range of 7 gradations between 00 to 5. The paper also offers protection against fogging when exposed to darkroom light. The robustness of this paper during processing gives the user added confidence. The advantages of variable-contrast papers compared to graded papers are now even recognized by the most conservative users: Having a pack of variable-contrast paper to hand means you have the ability to produce results at every contrast level.
The contrast can be purposefully controlled using color filters during exposure. Ilford Multigrade V RC DeLuxe is available in most common sheet sizes as well as role format with the following surfaces: glossy (1M), pearl (44M) and satin (25M).
