The Kaiser drying rack is an essential piece of lab equipment for developing RC papers. Place up to 10 (20 x 25 cm) images in this stand, designed for air-drying RC papers. If you want to dry large-format images, you can place a maximum of 5 (30 x 40 cm or 24 x 30 cm) prints in the stand. The way the Kaiser drying rack is angled is ideal for allowing water to run off the prints and to prevent the formation of water marks. Drying prints, whether RC or FB papers, has always been a source of aggravation. The risk of unwanted stains and marks on your carefully produce prints is especially in regions where the water is very hard or contains a lot of minerals. Drying your images correctly after washing them is therefore extremely important. Compared to FB papers, RC papers dry well and tend not to curl, making them ideal for air-drying. If the water in your area is particularly hard or has a high mineral content, we recommend that you rinse your pictures with distilled water before drying.
