Gone are the days of needing a stopwatch when processing film or paper. The electronic exposure timer by Kaiser, whilst not an innovation, cannot be beaten for ease of use and is an essential tool in the darkroom. The exposure timer has a two-digit, amber-colored digital display. The timer, which can be set to your needs, runs down to zero and then automatically resets to the starting time. For series exposures this can be repeated any number of times without having to reconfigure the clock each time. It is also possible to interrupt and restart the remaining time and interrupt and reset directly to the set starting time. The clock also has a continuous light button.
