Adox Adostop ECO P stopbath with Indicator for 5 Liter

Stop bath interrupts the development process and neutralises the developer so that the fixer does not deacidify and tip over due to carry-over.

ADOSTOP based on citric acid and with indicator is the noble form of stop bath. It has no or at most a pleasant citrus-fresh smell and changes colour from yellow to blue-violet to indicate when it has been used up.

When developing film and paper, ADOSTOP helps you to work in a timely manner by immediately interrupting the development process.

A stop bath is a must when processing baryta papers, as otherwise streaks can occur.

The new ADOSTOP ECO has been designed with the avoidance of hazardous substances in mind.

The following changes have been made:

• Pure citric acid as a base (no acetic acid content)
• Elimination of the biocide
• Water-soluble indicator without solvent

Advantages of the new formulation:

• Almost completely odourless
• Biodegradable
• No more precipitation of the indicator
• At least 3qm/litre preparation.

Shelf life of the working solution: Slightly shorter compared to the old variant with biocide. Recommended: 1-2 weeks.
