Extension rings from the manufacturer Heliopan based in Gräfelfing, near Munich are generally made of brass in a matte black design. As a result of the variety of lenses with different thread diameters available these days, step-down rings have become an essential accessory. Heliopan manufactures all the components of its products exclusively in Germany.
