Product information MACO glassine negative sleeves 13x18cm 25 sheets

Glassine bags for archiving sheet film negatives 13x18cm. These bags are made of finely-ground pulp paper which is largely greaseproof, but has a low wet strength. The high level of transparency is achieved by a special mechanical treatment called calendaring. Our MACO glassine sleeves are made of acid- and lignin-free photo glassine. The main advantage of glassine over acetate is the ability to allow any moisture which may find its way in to evaporate again. This generally makes glassine sheets more suitable for archiving than acetate.

Die Pergaminhüllen (auch: Pergamyn) eignen sich sehr gut zur übersichtlichen und langfristigen Archivierung von Planfilmnegativen 13x18 cm. Hauptvorteil ist die Fähigkeit eingedrungene Feuchtigkeit wieder abzugeben, weshalb Pergaminhüllen allgemein archivfester sind als Acetathüllen. Unsere Pergaminhüllen sind aus säure- und ligninfreiem Fotopergamin.
