ADOX® ist ein deutsches Unternehmen, das bereits 1860 in Frankfurt am Main gegründet wurde. Firmengründer C. Schleussner schuf mit den Fotowerken die „erste fotochemische Fabrik der Welt“. Weltweite Bekanntheit erlangte ADOX 1950 mit dem KB 17 als erster Dünnschichtfilm.
Das innovative Unternehmen hielt viele eigene Patente im Bereich der Farbfilmtechnologie.
Heute veredelt und Konfektioniert das Unternehmen in ihrer Manufaktur nahe Berlin hochwertige Fotochemikalien, die nach eigener Rezeptur Hergestellt werden. ADOX Aktivitäten umfassen die Film- und Fotopapierkonfektionierung sowie den Vertrieb der eigenen Fotochemikalien, wie:
